The Milan Brewing Company was established in the 1850s, and produced prize-winning beer for 100 years. The Brewery program will include temporary exhibits of the Brewery's memorabilia, local beer tastings and products, museum tours, raffles of an Edison Light Beer brewing kit, plus sale of limited edition reproductions from the brewery. In 1901, during the Chicago World's Fair, the Milan Brewing Company's beer took a blue ribbon prize, with the slogan "the beer that made Milwaukee jealous". Although no beer from Milan is available, guests will enjoy locally produced, seasonal Put-in-Bay Brewing Company beer tastings. Tokens will be available for additional tastings and raffle tickets.
